Course & Registration Information

Registration
Registration for the run will take place at the lower entrance to the Country Park which is just off the Crown Buildings Car Park situated behind Aberdare Library. As the run takes place on a Sunday morning, it is free to park at this car park and the nearby Gadlys Pit Car Park.
Registration begins at 9.45am and should take only a short time.

Family Run
The 2k family run begins at 10.30am. The bulk of the course is off-road and consequently, there is a walk of approximately 10 minutes to the start of the run from the lower entrance to the Country Park, so we suggest that participants register by 10.15 at the latest.
The route follows the lower line up to the footbridge by the lower lake. It then proceeds up the short hill towards the Visitor Centre, before returning to the lower line and finishing where it started.

5k Run
This event begins at 11.00am just inside the lower entrance to the Park. It follows the lower line pathway until the footbridge near the lower lake, then proceeds on the pathway around the top lake and returns to the starting point on the lower line.
