Dare you join us this Halloween?

The Dare Halloween Fun Run takes place in the grounds of the Dare Valley Country Park in Aberdare in the Cynon Valley on the morning of Sunday November 2nd.

The run will follow a 5k course through the Park which begins just outside Aberdare Town Centre and runs alongside the River Dare before passing lakes and a cascade. There is also a shorter 2k course for families and Children.

The family run will begin at 10.30am with the full 5k event beginning at 11.00am.

The idea behind this run is that it is going to be fun and while there won't be prizes for the first runner past the post, there will be prizes for the best fancy dress, etc.

Anyone and everyone is invited to take part in this event either by running or walking the course and full details of the run will appear here shortly, so please keep visiting this site for news on the run.

To take part in this event, please download the entry form and start collecting sponsorship using the sponsorship form.

The run will raise money for The Coal Industry Social Welfare Organisation a National charity which is active locally.

This run will be full of spooky fun while at the same time raising money for two great causes and is definately a date for your diary this Autumn.
